This trail mix bursting with sweet apricots, crunchy pistachios, tangy cranberries, creamy white chocolate, and wholesome almonds, will satisfy your cravings on any outdoor adventure.

Nutty Apricot Trail Mix
Before you go running to the store, let me give you the inside scoop on the key ingredients:
Native to: Central Asia
Top 3 nutrients: vitamin A, vitamin C, fiber
Unsweetened dried apricots are recommended, however sweetened works as well.Â
Native to: Middle East & South Asia
Top 3 nutrients: healthy fats, vitamin E, magnesium
Whole raw or roasted almonds are recommended, but slivered works too!
Native to: Middle East
Top 3 nutrients: protein, healthy fats, fiber
Unsalted pistachios are best, but salted is fine too! Feel free to buy unshelled, but save a good chunk of change and get shelled (and shell them yourself).
Native to: North America
Top 3 nutrients: vitamin C, fiber, antioxidants
To keep sugars down, opt for unsweetened. If you have more of a sweet tooth, sweetened works too!

I personally prefer to buy my favourite chocolate and chop it into bite size pieces, but feel free to use chocolate chips!

Storage Instructions
Here are some tips to help you maximize the shelf life of your Nutty Apricot Trail Mix:
- Keep stored in a sealable container or bag
- Vacuum sealing can extend the shelf life by up to three times its normal duration! This is useful if you’re prepping lots for longer term use.Â
- Store in a cool, dry and dark place. For longer term storage, it’s recommended to keep stored in the freezer (especially if not vacuum sealed)
When you take these measures, your trail mix can last for several months, up to a few years!

Nutty Apricot Trail Mix
Ingredients
- 6 dried apricots
- ¼ cup almonds
- ⅛-¼ cup pistachios, shelled (about 20)
- 2 tbsps dried cranberries
- 1 tbsp white chocolate, chips or chopped

- Â Combine all ingredients in a bag or container and enjoy!
