These are fantastic on their own as a snack, or are an awesome topping for a salad. Super simple. Super delicious.

Ingredients

strawberries (about 8-10 whole),
sliced
▢
1½
tbsp
balsamic vinegar
▢
1
tbsp
white sugar
optional - see notes
Instructions
▢
1. Slice strawberries into approx ¼″ thick slices
▢
2. If using sugar, sprinkle sugar on strawberries, stir, cover and let macerate for 30 mins
(skip this step if not using sugar)
▢
3. Pour balsamic vinegar over strawberries, stir, cover and let sit for 30 – 45 minutes. Stir halfway through.
▢
4. Place strawberries on dehydrating tray and dehydrate at 135
℉
for about 6 hours
