Apple Pear-fection Trail Mix

Crisp apples and succulent pears meet the satisfying crunch of walnuts and pepitas, all balanced with the indulgent touch of salted caramel dark chocolate, creating a harmonious blend that captures the essence of autumn in every delicious bite.
*Note: recipe below provides instructions for dehydrating and making your own ingredients but you can simply buy ingredients instead

Ingredients
  

  • ¼ cup walnuts
  • 1 tbsp dried pears, (see notes if dehydrating your own)
  • 1 tbsp dried apples, chopped (see notes if dehydrating your own)
  • 1 tbsp pepitas or pumpkin seeds
  • 1 tbsp salted caramel chocolate

Instructions

If buying ingredients:

  • 1. Combine all ingredients in a bag or container and enjoy!

If making your own dehydrated apples and pears:

  • 1. Peel apple and slice into ¼" slices and then cube slices. Disperse on dehydrating tray (on a mesh liner).
  • 2. Slice pear into ¼" slices. Disperse on dehydrating tray (mesh liner recommended).
  • 3. Dehydrate at 135℉ for about 5 hours.

Notes

  • If making your own dried fruit, using a Bartlett pear is recommended (more noticeable flavour). For apple, use a more sweet and crisp variety.
